Dealer OS Marketplace Assistant privacy

This notice describes the browser extension. Your Dealer OS account and Facebook account remain subject to their respective privacy policies.

Information used

When you prepare a listing or import a draft, the extension receives public vehicle details, a listing description, dealership location, and up to 20 photo URLs. Descriptions may include contact information you entered. It downloads those photos and transfers the listing information to the Facebook vehicle form you open. You review and publish the listing yourself.

Storage and deletion

Drafts are stored locally in browser extension session storage, separately for each prepared tab. Closing that tab, clearing its draft in the extension, or restarting the browser clears the stored draft. Drafts expire after one hour. Photo data is processed in memory; large photos may be resized for upload. Saved originals are not changed. Removing a draft from the extension does not delete information already transferred to Facebook.

Access and sharing

The extension accesses supported Dealer OS pages to receive your requested draft and Facebook vehicle creation pages to fill it. It requests access to additional image hosts only when required for your photos. Image requests omit credentials and referrers. Image hosts and Facebook receive the network requests needed to complete your transfer, including normal connection information such as an IP address.

The extension does not receive your Dealer OS authentication token, read passwords or browser cookies, collect browsing history, or include advertising or analytics. It does not send drafts to a separate extension backend or sell their data. It checks supported page addresses and form controls to perform the transfer. Browser photo permissions remain until you revoke them or uninstall the extension.

Your choices and support

You can decline optional photo access, clear a draft through the extension popup, revoke extension permissions, or uninstall it through your browser. Manage uploaded information and published listings directly on Facebook. For questions, email bekzod@dealer-os.io or use Support in your dashboard.
